We are looking forward to hosting our 2022 Minerva Virtual Series that will be held over four days in October. These sessions will facilitate an environment for Minerva grant awardees and other interested social science researchers to join in a policy-oriented conversation with defense policy makers and military operations personnel. The format will be more discussion-based and less focused on individual project presentations. The discussion topics include:
1. Integrated Deterrence: operationalizing the 2022 National Defense Strategy
2. Gray zone / subthreshold: full spectrum campaigning, measuring and mitigating risks
3. Building Future Advantage: keeping pace with technological change and building the workforce of the future, with industry, allies and partners
4. Developing Strategy: applying creativity in strategy development, and understanding the impact of hegemonic shifts in power on strategic assumptions
The series will include 90 minute virtual engagements in the afternoons during the first two Tuesdays & Thursdays in October. A notational schedule is below.
Draft schedule:
Week 1: 1300-1430
Tuesday, October 4th
Thursday, October 6th
