Project Description:
This research will provide insight into ongoing influence campaigns that affect US interests and our allies in critical countries in the Indo-Pacific region. Country specific findings may provide valuable situational awareness. A strong national defense requires recognizing and responding to influence campaigns. The proposed research lays the foundation for strengthening national defense by providing the DoD with the tactics, techniques and procedures needed to recognize influence/propaganda campaigns, and to identify who is conducting it against whom, how, with what impact and to design a counter strategy. Metrics and insight are anticipated to be of value to both public affairs and intelligence officers.
