Project description:
This project seeks to understand the relationship between climate variability and the relative vulnerability or resilience of Sahelian societies and institutions and how perceptions of climate impacts, effects, and hazards at different scales and in different sectors inform individual behavioral calculations, debates on social structures and authority, and decisions about the shape of both formal and informal institutions.
